Employee Spotlight
 
Steve Barkovich, Master Certified Technician at Dick Scott Dodge
Steve Barkovich has been in the Automotive Industry for 21 years, all of which have been with Dick Scott. He is currently a Service Technician at Dick Scott Dodge, in Plymouth. He Graduated from Lincoln Park High and also attended Henry Ford College. He now lives in Grass Lake with his Wife Ann, and his two Shih Tzu dogs, named Mimsey and Maury. In his spare time, Steve enjoys Model Trains, and reading books by his favorite author, Roger Carp. His favorite movie is "Yankee Doodle Dandy." He currently drives a 2002 Dodge Caravan. He hopes to someday own  a 1948, Lima Built, Allegheny Locomotive. Steve also holds a patent for a Nickel Base Alloy.
For the past 21 years Steve has taken numerous courses through Chrysler to enhance his skills. He has become a Master Certified Technician through the State of Michigan. If you have a question or concern about your vehicle's performance, Steve is the one to ask.

Dick Scott Rewards Cards
Have you checked your Dick Scott Rewards Card Points lately? Checking your points is as easy as going to our website, navigate to the "Rewards" menu and clicking on "Check Your Points." We'll need your email address to sign in so if you haven't given us that information yet please email us at rewards@dickscott.com with your email address and Rewards Card number. Once you're in you can check your points. Points can be redeemed for anything from a car wash or oil change to a discount on your next new or pre-owned vehicle purchase/lease. This is just another part of the "Dick Scott Difference".

Each month we will be asking a different Trivia question.  Email us back with an answer.  Everyone who gets the answer correct will be entered into our drawing.  This month's prize is a free oil change.

Recipe Of The Month
Amazing Baked Beans
 
1 large onion, chopped
5 strips bacon
1 can Kidney beans, drained
1 can butter beans, drained
1 can pork-n-beans
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup ketchup
1 tsp Worstershire Sauce
4 oz cheddar cheese, shredded

Cook bacon until done, remove from pan, blot off excess grease and break into small pieces. Brown onions in bacon grease. Once the onions are browned, mix them and all the other ingredients. Put them into a baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 ½ hours.
